Where Public Safety and Progress Meet

Parole Supervision

Parole is a form of clemency which can only be granted through a majority vote of the five member Parole Board. Inmates in Georgia have no legal right to parole. All parole eligible inmates, however, will have their cases reviewed and considered by the Parole Board. If an inmate is granted parole, he or she will be required to comply with certain standard and special conditions of release while under the supervision of DCS.
