ATLANTA - DCS brings books to not only brighten the holidays but to help brighten the futures for children throughout the state of Georgia.

District Director Ayana Sharpe says that this effort is really a reflection of what the department does every day.

“DCS team members give back every holiday season”, said Sharpe. “The DCS holiday book drive is yet another avenue through which the department is making a positive, and hopefully lasting, impact in the communities we serve”, added Sharpe.

Every DCS District Office has collected books for children of all ages. The books will be donated to local charities and nonprofits throughout the state of Georgia. DCS has collected nearly 2,000 books which will be distributed over the coming days.
