Parole is a form of clemency granted by a majority vote of the five-member Parole Board. Inmates in Georgia have no legal right to parole. The Parole Board reviews and considers cases of all eligible-parole inmates.
An individual granted parole is required to comply with the standard and special conditions of release while under supervision.
